Experience the thrill of the sports on offer with casual or social play. Please note, casual use means you might share the court with other players.
Competition opportunities are also available including social competitions for all ages.
Netball is a fast-paced team sport played on a court with a raised goal at each end. Teams consists of seven players, and the objective is to score goals by passing the ball down the court and shooting it through the opponent’s goal ring. Netball is a high-impact sport which requires speed, agility, and teamwork. Excellent for developing cardiovascular fitness, hand-eye coordination, and strategic thinking. With quick passes and dynamic movement, netball offers a challenging workout for players of all skill levels.
Heffron Centre has two (2) exciting nights of Netball
On Monday evenings we have our Mixed Competition, games start from 6:00pm and run every 45-minutes.
On Wednesday evenings, we have our Women’s competition for Under 10’s to Under 16’s. Games start from 3:45pm.
Individuals who are looking join a team are welcome. There are lots of teams looking for additional players and our staff can place you in a suitable team.
