Experience the thrill of the sports on offer with casual or social play.  Please note, casual use means you might share the court with other players.

Competition opportunities are also available including social competitions for all ages.

What is Pickleball?

Pickleball is a fun and engaging paddle sport combining elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. Played on a smaller court with a perforated plastic ball and a solid paddle., the game can be played as singles (two players) or doubles (four players). Pickleball is considered a low to moderate impact sport, suitable for players of all ages and fitness levels. The sport emphasises strategy, precision, and agility, providing a great way to stay active, improve coordination, and enjoy friendly competition in a social setting.

Junior Pickleball

Age Group: 6-12 years

Description: The Junior Pickleball Program is designed to introduce young children to the exciting world of pickleball in a fun and supportive environment. This program focuses on developing basic skills such as rallies and serves through engaging drills and games. Our experienced coaches ensure that each session is filled with enjoyment and learning, fostering a love for the sport from an early age.

We have qualified and professional coaches facilitating our sessions and coaching our Juniors and Beginners.

Competitions run on Fridays once a month.

Heffron Centre competitions are currently not DUPR rated Competitions.

Competition levels include Intermediate (approx. DUPR 2.0 – 2.9) and Advanced (approx. DUPR 3.0 – 3.4)
